SISI LAIN BUMI Exhibition

Lately I published a book called SISI LAIN BUMI. This book is a bundle of surrealism fiction, or I would say Surrealism-tale. There're stories about love, passion, happiness, betray, and Horror. If you never see the book, it look like this :

It's a 'print on demand' book type and can be bought in this site Sisi Lain Bumi just like a usual online shopping, the printing process will take 2 weeks, or 10 work days. But it's worth waiting, guys :)

And now, I held an exhibition responding this book. The exhibitors are creative people from various background such as Artist, Designer, Architect, and Photographer. These creative people exhibit their works responding SISI LAIN BUMI book. I would like to invite you all to the exhibition if you in Bandung at the time. Here are the poster about the exhibition. You can find about place and time of exhibition there. See u then :)

24 Hours is Not Enough

I often thinking that 24 hours a day just not enough. I mean, there's always an interesting stuff I found one after another, and I can't make my self not trying it.
It's like "hey, there's this new idea about new design"--when I've been working on my other projects. It's like, "come on, me! You can do this! You can finish this one, and making that one. Oh and you can do that thing you always want to do too!!"-- uuugh, I can't blame anyone, I even can't blame myself, it's my nature.
I'm writing, making article, making books, promoting my books, draw an illustration, promoting it too, and don't forget about my job in the office, and also my job as a lecturer. Sometimes I feel exhausted, like there's no time to take a break. But then I think about it, about my life, and I LIKE IT! I really am!
To live a life as interior designer, writer, illustrator, and lecturer is just one think that make myself more like me.
And then I ask myself, is 24 hours is not enough? Yes, it's just not enough, not for me, and I think there are so many people will be agree with me about it.

So, let's just cut the chit-chat about me and now we're just slide to my works.
I'll post about my previous work, interior design project.
This is a conceptual design for a cafe in Serang - Banten, Indonesia. It's called Java-Net Cafe where people can get a cozy place to eat, drink, and surf the net. The whole concept are bright, colorful, and fun for every ages. I make it simple with geometrical forms and just playing in color composition. For an accent, I was making decorative armature in the ceiling, it soften the light when it reach the eyes and give a good vibe among the colorful ambient.

I'm also publishing this design on my design page : Dress Your Space (d.y.s) on Facebook. If you kindly enough to check, here it is http://www.facebook.com/DressYourSpace.d.y.s
This page is one of a things which make me thinking that 24 hours is not enough. But even if it's not enough, I still want to make sure that I live it and love it :)
So, see you in the next round.

My New Book_Sisi Lain Bumi

Hi everyone,

Recently I have publishing my new book called Sisi Lain Bumi. It's a fairy tales compilation of mine, but not so fairy, it's more like surrealism or satire.
You can find my book here http://www.nulisbuku.com/books/view/sisi-lain-bumi and you can download the sample (3 pages from one of the stories) there. You can also review it, rate it, and buy it :D
I designed the book cover itself, and I like it. I hope you like it too

Travelling Credenza

For someone who like travelling, suitcase is not anything new. Except you're a backpacker, you will need suitcase when you go travelling (at least I do, hehe).
And then I designed this credenza, inspired by travelling suitcase. Some of it finished by laminated wood, some other synthetic leather and fabric. It's just a wood-based credenza, but I made it look like a bunch of suitcase in a place. So, check this out. It will be on the market this year. :)

We sell cookies, you pay with smile :)

My friend, Fajar Abadi, was making art performance and exhibition

after that in National Gallery Indonesia. The performance are how to

making strangers smile. He baked muffin and sell it in public and

everyone who want it can have it by paying with smile, only smile.

The performance called "KUEHSENYUM" it means smile cookies. He really

done well with the concept and results. This is the video about it.

I'm on it too, helping him like everyone else, because this is really
